Before you begin, ensure that the mower has been parked on a safe level surface and that the engine has been turned off. Now, carefully disconnect the spark plug assembly and wiring, suspending it off to a side. You may then proceed to remove the old spark plugs. If your spark plugs are secured with the means of screws, use a suitable screwdriver to unfasten the securing screws before you remove the spark plug. Remember that you must only use the appropriate plugs recommended by the manufacturer when replacing the spark plugs. Clean out the area around the spark plug housing before you fit the new spark plugs in place. Once you have installed the new plugs, secure them in position with the screws fastening the housing and re-connect the wiring to the unit.
